Copper Bronze Brass Sheet Strip Cold Rolling Mills

Copper (Bronze, Brass) Strip Rolling Process:

• From hot rolling and cold rolling, hot rolling from billet down to around 17mm thickness by 2hi mill
• the copper cold rolling mill will be first rough rolling mill to get around 3mm sheet by 4hi roughing mill
• from 3mm go to around 1mm thickness by 4hi reverse mill
• then fine rolling mill makes copper strip and even copper foils by 4hi or 6hi hydraulic AGC reversible mill.

Copper strip Reversible Cold rolling Mill can be 4-Hi or 6-Hi to realize rough rolling, fine rolling and foil rolling copper strips.

Take 16mm input reducing down to 1.5mm as example:
16mm-10mm-7mm-5mm-4mm-3.6mm(annealing)
4mm-2.4mm-1.7mm-1.5mm, total 8passes rolling

Hydraulic AGC press down system to press copper thickness down to min. 0.03mm, high precision high precision reaction of the hydraulic AGC automatic control system plays critical role:

Composed of 2 hydraulic cylinders for press-down, servo hydraulic system, PLC system, thickness gauge, industrial computer, etc. The PC also shows the drivers PLC parameters for operation and saving.
